Paediatric Emergency Aid Course. £

A half day information course aimed at parent/grandparents etc who seek first aid skills to help their family. The course is theory and practical based with plenty of opportunity to practice sequences without the worry of an assessment. Topics covered include assessment procedures, resuscitation (using adult, child and baby manikins), recovery position, choking, bleeding, burns and shock. Other subjects can be addressed during a question and answer session. The course is accompanied by a reference handout.
